Good morning, my laptop.

You make my day pop!

Email, AP, Facebook,

Through you I look.

News, trivia, shopping.

Without you, I’d be dropping.

Your glow makes my creative juices flow.

You help me find anything I want to know.

Dear laptop, you’re an essential prop.

I know we’ll be together until my heart stops.

 

Pencil, oh pencil,

How wonderful you are!

Always ready with a point,

filling in every blank,

waiting to dot every "i".

Divulging my most inner thoughts

But only when I command thee.

And yet,

you are the first

to hide my mistakes,

softly erasing evidence of my folly

with your rubbery end,

Peppering my paper with

pink confetti.

Dear pencil, scribe with me!

Together we can doodle

into eternity.

You pick me up when i fall.

Your always there for me.

I never doubt where you'll be.

You've shown me love.

Down in Brooklyn.

You were all we knew.

You made some people famous.

Some day hoping that will be me.

You shown me I can express myself.

You Helped me put in countless hours.

You sleep under my bed.

You're always in my plans.

with the blankets over my head

every night with you I sleep

you've been with me through it all

you've heard all the late night calls

all the laughs, dreams, and tears

you've been there with me all these years
